The Manager of an Allambie Netball team shall:
- Be a financial, Associate or Life Member of Allambie Netball Club
- Adhere to Netball Australia’s, MWNA and Allambie Code of conduct and COVID guidelines
- Maintain a sense of humor and strive in creating a fun learning environment
- Complete online “working with children check” and forward the Coaching Convenor your registration code.
- In conjunction with the coach, organise a minimum of one (1) training session per week advising the Secretary of time(s) and day(s) (throughout the season).
- Collect and maintain team kit, advise gear steward of any new equipment required.
- Attend all games in the MWNA competition. (in your absence notify the coach of a suitable stand in)
- Ensure all club communication is filtered to parents. Use the communication tools available to keep communication open by using the team app, email, website and Facebook.
- Be responsible for behaviour of players whilst on court and at training
- Be responsible for the dress code of their players on court
- Make yourself available to attend the Allambie Netball club coaching/managers meetings (approx 2 per season)
- In liaison with the coach, in the event of a dispute at training or games, notify the coaches convenor/Allambie executive representative. This must be done on the day the dispute occurs.
- Report any injuries to the Allambie Sect. (via email is adequate)
- Where applicable accompany team to nominated grading days or carnivals
- Be familiar with and adhere to MWNA “playing up guidelines” and By-Laws
- Keep a record of your players who have played up (maximum 2 games)
- In conjunction with the coach, be responsible for all Allambie Netball Club Inc equipment. At the the completion of the netball season return all equipment cleaned as requested.
- Report any lost damaged equipment to the gear steward.
- Coordinate and remind all players (over 12 yrs) of their umpiring duties.
- Ensure all team members are aware of wet weather procedures
- Rostering parents on game day to collect scoresheet, (NSG rings) and organise players to sign on
- Rostering parents to bring half time fruit and end of game lollies (if so desired)
- Rostering parents to score in conjunction with the opposition at each game (not needed for
NSG,) - Return scorecard to appropriate drop off point (if you win)
- Organising any duties/rosters required by the club for the whole team
- Encourage friendly cheering from the side-lines
- Collect bibs & match balls after each game
- Alerting players to cancelled training/matches due to wet weather.
- Ensure all spectators adhere to the Covid guidelines set out by MWNA
